Store owner ready to pour a glass of wine

Austin-area climate-controlled wine storage, tasting room to open Sept. 12

Vintage Wine Storage, a 13,000-square-foot space designed for wine enthusiasts to properly store their wine collections, is set to open in the Austin area Sept. 12.

In a news release issued Aug. 29, founder Gabe Anderson said the facility will provide lockers to suit each person’s needs, such as temperature, humidity and insulation.

Anderson said an option to have wine collections shipped to the warehouse is also available to customers.

Additionally, clients have the ability to get their wine delivered and picked up in a temperature-controlled vehicle within a 40-mile radius of the facility.

Vintage Wine Storage officials will also dedicate 3,000 square feet of the facility to provide curated wine tastings for customers.
